Animated and directed by Hermione Morris, Fish People and Friendship follows a woman as she navigates the landscape of her mind, while the real world attempts to draw her back.

Character Design
This character was chosen to reflect a woman in her early 30s with a magical twist. The blueness of her skin accentuates her otherness when set against the reddish hues of her surroundings, particularly in contrast to her fishie friend, who belongs in this otherworldly environment.
Backgrounds
The backgrounds were created using traditional watercolour paintings and composed together in Photoshop giveing the final film a tactile and textured quality.
